Day 3 (Monday): Angry People

Today, is 2nd day of working in the community to help feed the homeless.

In the morning we helped make the food to help feed the homeless. The meal today was beef stew, chicken, broccoli, mac-and-cheese. There were tons of nice people but also angry people.

Most of the people were nice but today there was one guy who got angry because we ran out of hamburger patties. He started to riot and even tried to get other people to protest with him. He finally got too angry and left the store. It was surprisingly packed, I did not expect to feed over 900 people in one morning. The people that really kept me going was the people that told me that I was doing great and “God bless you” The part that got me angry was that sometimes the people are ungrateful for their free food and they are complaining. This actually happened quite a lot.

Day 4 (Tuesday): Serving and Playing

Tim So today it was the second day of serving the people at the soup kitchen. It was cool, we served about 900 people, and some guy accidentally urinated on himself. We prayed for him, and I hope he’s doing well. Anyway, after that we ate and then went to Belmont Park, which is an amusement park, like Boardwalk. Wesley and I won 3 big basketballs and we were happy. I scammed them lol. Day 3 (Monday): First Day at Service Sites

Ada Today, we helped out at the boys and girls club. We saw really cute kids like Isabella, Sophia, and Isaac. Later, we went to the senior home to eat lunch. The funny thing was that we forgot our cooler with our lunches. Thank goodness there were cup noodles in our car. It was really fun [[; I named all the leaders and made friends with them. Joni told me that the camp was for kids who   had a bad background, we loved playing with the kids, though there was some bullying. The afternoon we went to a senior home.
