Day 2 (Sunday): Arriving at Youthworks

Today, we woke up in Matt’s house (Joni’s Brother). All the girls got ready to go swimming. Ada went into the dog cage and pretended to be sleeping there all night. I ate cereal, while some others had a breakfast sandwich.  The boys got there around 10:00 A.M.




We got ready for swimming. Swimming was one of the most entertaining things to do today. We got time to hang out with our group at the swimming pool. Everyone was pushing each other into the pool when we least expected it. I think I got pushed the most. I should be more aware of my surroundings. 


Then we got ready to go to San Diego. As usual we had to stop at a gas station for someone to pee. Then Tim went to buy a drink but the drink was expired. He got mad and ran back into the station to get another drink. Poor Tim he doesn’t have any luck when buying things. So we went to San Diego while both of our cars were racing to get there. My car got there first! YAY! We met some pretty nice people and we settled down in our rooms. Then we started playing with cards. We played spoons, slap jack, and others.


 Then it was time for dinner, me and my friends got chosen to wash dishes. So we ate dinner and washed dishes together and it was pretty fun. Then we just hung out till we had to go to the LGG ro0m, which is where we played a few games and did worship. After we found out what groups we were in and just hung out till we had to sleep.  Then we went to sleep.

Day 4 (Tuesday): Serving and Playing

Tim So today it was the second day of serving the people at the soup kitchen. It was cool, we served about 900 people, and some guy accidentally urinated on himself. We prayed for him, and I hope he’s doing well. Anyway, after that we ate and then went to Belmont Park, which is an amusement park, like Boardwalk. Wesley and I won 3 big basketballs and we were happy. I scammed them lol. Day 3 (Monday): First Day at Service Sites

Ada Today, we helped out at the boys and girls club. We saw really cute kids like Isabella, Sophia, and Isaac. Later, we went to the senior home to eat lunch. The funny thing was that we forgot our cooler with our lunches. Thank goodness there were cup noodles in our car. It was really fun [[; I named all the leaders and made friends with them. Sunshine, Flower, Daisy, Kangeroo, and Jay.  Large Group Gathering (LGG): discussion groups Yasmine Hi, today was our first day working for the community,   we started off the morning helping at a boys and girls camp. Joni told me that the camp was for kids who   had a bad background, we loved playing with the kids, though there was some bullying. The afternoon we went to a senior home.
